An individual began, putting it mildly, to harass me in the early months of this year and eventually went beyond all reasonable bounds. What did I do wrong? I had joined in the very common gossip whenever stories about his behaviour percolated the local farang community. My expectation was that he would eventually exhaust his spite and do what I asked him to do several times, leave me alone. Several people have explained to him that, if he leaves me and others alone, we will leave him alone.

Well, it didn't happen. He is still spreading stories about me and has vowed to continue. I have broken no law and am now prepared to expose in public the evidence of what he has done. The sources of the evidence are impeccable - himself and one of his friends.

But I'm a fair person. I'll give him one last chance. If I never hear again that he is defaming my name or vowing to continue to do so, I may leave it at that. But, if I hear one more story to the effect that he is still calling me names behind my back or otherwise attempting to cause mischief for me, I will release the torrent of fine evidence that I have to show what he is really like. I'm entitled to protect my name and alert the community to what is in their midst.

Simply put saf, there is a lot of gossip in Korat, what is true and what is not, persons may even now distort the truth to learn what info you have.
