Human Remains Found In Andaman Sea

Postby saf » Mon May 11, 2009 1:39 pm

I heard that Thai tv put out a story that bones have been found in a sunken container by Thai fishermen. It's suggested that this may have something to do with the people who went missing during the troubles of 1991.

I can't find anything in a Google search. Anyone else heard about this?

There was a military coup in 1991 and some unrest in the south.

"Feb. 1991 a truck laden with dynamite exploded in a village in the southern killing some 180 people. On Feb. 23, 1991 the military ousted Prime Minister Chatichai after allegations of corruption, imposed martial law, suspended the constitution and appointed Anand Panyarachun as interim Prime Minister pending elections. Following which the Junta charged 26 politicians, including Chatichai, with corruption"

I know nothing about it. Nothing I say. It wasn't me.
