The BBC is broadcasting an interesting documentary on BBC World (True Visions channel 93).

Reya El-Salahi, an eighteen year old English Jewish-Muslim girl visits Israel and the Palestinian areas with a film crew accompanied variously by British, Israeli and Palestinian producers. She speaks to both Israelis and Palestinians, gathering a range of opinions and forming her own.

It seems he's about to portray a young Ginsberg in a movie but I question the choice of who to play Ginsberg. Despite his poetic achievement, Ginsberg was a bearded and willing test subject with Timothy Leary's Harvard sponsored LSD experiments in the early 60s when he wrote the book 'Doors of Perception', and Ginsberg ironically turned up every day to Leary's apartment to take part in 'further research'.

I just watched The One for the first time. Quite an interesting movie but very much of its time.

I don't know how to do it but I believe that it is possible to watch BBCi Player while you are in Thailand . Is anybody able to say that it's so ? And how to go about it ? It would be terrific to be able to look at those dramas at which they are so good .

Wow! Didn't realise he was 84, I'm sure many remember him as part of their younger lives, for me it was "Jim'll fix it", although he was a DJ etc too.

This seems to be the very first episode of Last Of The Summer Wine, other than, perhaps, a pilot. Great British humour.

When I first saw Gordon Ramsey's angry outbursts and swearing on the tv, I thought he was, as one might say in polite circles, somewhat out of order. However, once I got to see what a good chef, businessman and actor he is, I began to admire him. This clip suggests that even Basil Fawlty couldn't win an 'Insult The Customer Competition'. Remember that this is a restaurant for the tv show with inexperienced chefs ...
