Saf, I still think it is a good idea to have a recent post ticker, as it's a bit of a nightmare looking through every section of the index page to find 'Today's Posts'.

It is fairly normal on other forums and I think it would be a good addition to Grumpy with the ease of going to new posts much improved. :D

Hi Saf and everyone, don't know what others think but how about ditching unpopular/never used sub-forums (like 'Singles' etc) and replacing them with different titles/subjects or introducing new sections and cobbling some of the others together to streamline it a bit and do a revamp a little....perhaps.

Not necessarily saying what/where or how etc, just floating an idea to maybe revitalise things and see what other posters think.

Still think a forum add-on about latest ...

I'm not sure whether to post this in the 'Problems' section or 'Suggestions' section but here it is anyway.

Posts in the Shopping Mall > Property Shop don't show up in the active topics list. Is this a conscious decision or is it something that could be fixed?

Saf, how about sorting it out so that we can post YouTube vids directly onto the forum in the Youtube box instead of doing a link, popular on other forums, not the ones in Korat mind you, outside of so to speak. Is it possible with this php software or would you have to upgrade?

Just a quick thought but how about a box on the main index page that shows the topic title that the last 5 post have been made on. I know there is the 'view active topics' option but it's easy to miss, especially for newbies or guests. It would also make it easier for those on mobiles or a slow internet connection. As an aside it would also make the index page look more happening/lively/cool. ...

How about some generally helpful info on the index page, like the weather/temperature in Korat at the moment, rather like Google desktop does, or the current exchange rate for a few major currencies, could do up coming Thai holidays in the next month.

Could jazz up the index page a bit. There are other websites everywhere that do the same but ...
