Police to take actions against football hooligans

Police are reviewing video footage of the bloody clash between football fans at Supachalasai Stadium so it can bring the hooligans to justice.

Muang Thong United and Thai Port were playing for the King's Trophy on Saturday.

Many spectators were hurt in the melee and five of them have already lodged complaints with police.

The Thailand Veterans Athletics Association will be holding its annual athletics championships on the weekend of 7-8 March 2009. The location of these annual meets is rotated around different regions of the country. This year Korat has the honour of hosting the championships. The meeting will be held at the stadium that was built for the 2007 SEA Games - His Majesty The King’s 80th Anniversary Stadium.

It's Saturday and have a very serious problem. I don’t understand English as spoken by football fans and football commentators.

There are many things I don’t understand about their 'football-speak' but here’s something that really made my head spin today.

A nice one-two and then a 'cheeky' finish to secure the game.

What the Dickens is a cheeky finish? How would you translate that into real English?
