An English guy got some advance publicity for his new business selling farang food. He was about to open the shop, anticipating that his licenses would arrive soon. Another local English guy reported him to the police who arrived as he was about to open for business.

Given the way things are in this country and the need for more businesses serving farang, isn't that a churlish thing to do?

What would you do if someone upset you? Would you have a quiet word with him about it, perhaps, or make an angry 'phone call? Perhaps you would just ignore him. I heard the other day that Gaston has died.

Gaston ran the very successful Amporn Restaurant in Korat until ill health got the better of him and he sold it. He wanted to enjoy more free time in his remaining years and moved to Pattaya where he opened a small business.

Thanks for the good times at Amporn Gaston. RIP.
